Woodpeckers SPLINE-23 Spline Jig

Woodpeckers SPLINE-23 Spline Jig
Designed to solve the weakness of 45-degree miter joints, which are often not strong enough with glue alone. This tool supports workpieces such as boxes or picture frames in the correct position to rout or cut slots for reinforcing splines. The jig is made from Super Track aluminum and durable powder-coated steel legs, ensuring accurate and consistent spline placement at every corner, turning ordinary joints into strong, beautifully crafted details.

Features
Supports 2-in-1 use on both table saws and router tables.
Adjustable in 2 width settings to accommodate workpieces ranging from small (1/2 inch) to large (16 inches and up)
Equipped with UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) strips on the bottom and sides, allowing the jig to glide smoothly across the table and fence without scratching
Includes 4 molded Flip Stops to quickly and accurately index mortise positions across all corners
Super Track slot system accommodates standard 1/4"-20 hex bolt heads, allowing for various hold-down clamp setups
Precision right-angle steel support legs keep the workpiece upright throughout the cut, reducing errors from vibration or tilting
Can be used with a Dovetail Bit to create attractive and distinctive dovetail splines

Applications
Box making that requires strength and showcases contrasting spline grain patterns
