It is a "Hi-Frequency External Motor" type of concrete vibrator, also known as an "External Vibrator." Unlike internal vibrators (poker vibrators), the FJH-550 is mounted or clamped onto the outside of concrete formwork or a vibrating table to transmit vibration directly into the concrete from the outside.

Main purposes:
- Prevent honeycombing or incomplete filling: Especially in areas difficult for internal poker vibrators to reach.
- Ensure a smooth concrete surface: High-frequency vibration makes the concrete dense and produces a fine finish.

FJH-550 It has a power output of 550W and operates on a dedicated 48V 3-phase supply at a frequency of 200/240Hz. This means it must be used with a dedicated Mikasa high-frequency converter, such as models FC-450 or FU-162A; it cannot be plugged directly into standard electrical mains.
