MIKASA WSP-3LB flexible submersible pump, GM connector, pipe size 3 inches, length 6 meters

Flexible Shaft Submersible Pump MIKASA WSP-3LB GM connector, 3-inch discharge size, 6 meters length
The MIKASA WSP-3LB (GM) flexible shaft submersible pump is a sub-model of the MIKASA WSP-3LB, sharing the exact same core features and performance, but with a key difference in the type of shaft coupling. The "(GM)" in the model name indicates that this pump comes with a GM-type (General Motors type) coupling, also known as "quick-connect" or "hexagonal" type. This coupling is widely used with various brands of flexible shaft drive engines, including Mikasa's own, allowing for quick and convenient connection and disconnection between the flexible shaft and the engine.

This pump model retains the key strengths of the WSP-3LB as a submersible pump with no built-in electric motor, being driven instead via a flexible shaft powered by an external drive engine (such as a gasoline or diesel engine, which is not included with the WSP-3LB (GM) pump set).

With its specially engineered wide flow passages across the strainer, impeller, and pump casing, the WSP-3LB (GM) is highly capable of pumping liquids with high solids content—such as sand, mud, sediment, sewage containing suspended solids, or oil—without clogging easily.

Features
- Flexible shaft submersible pump: submerged pump head provides automatic self-priming and is powered by an external engine
- GM-type (quick-connect) shaft coupling: allows for fast and easy connection and disconnection to the drive engine
- Solids resistant: designed with wide flow passages to effectively pump water containing mud, sand, sediment, and suspended solids
- High pumping performance: delivers a large flow rate of up to 1,500 L/min with a head of up to 18 meters
- Robust construction: built to withstand heavy-duty use in harsh construction environments

Applications
- Construction work: dewatering foundation pits, sumps, or excavated areas containing muddy, sandy, or contaminated water
- Mining and dam projects: For managing water and sediment in harsh environments
- Canal or pond dredging: Used to pump sediment and various contaminants for cleaning
- Flood drainage: Used in emergency situations to drain water from flooded areas
- Industrial applications: Draining wastewater, water with sediment, oil, or other liquids in factories
