BESSEY D118-300 Pelican Snips 300 mm
The BESSEY D118-300 is a German industrial-standard pelican snip designed specifically for long continuous and straight cuts. With an offset pelican-style head and extra-long 62 mm blades, it allows cut sheet metal to slide smoothly beneath the snips and handles without snagging or curling up into the user's hand. The one-piece drop-forged structure features high-grade hardened blades and extra-thick green PVC-dipped handles for excellent grip and hand protection during use.

Features

- Pelican Snips Design: Specially angled offset head guides sheared metal beneath the snips so handles do not catch on the sheet, allowing the user to make long, straight, and continuous cuts quickly and smoothly.

- Extra-Long 62 mm Blade: Extended cutting edge reduces the number of cutting strokes needed, speeding up trimming of metal sheets or long galvanized panels with smooth, clean edges and no jagged overlap marks.

- Drop-Forged Single Piece: Head and handles are drop-forged in one piece from select premium steel with no complex spring mechanisms, delivering a solid, rugged construction that withstands heavy compression forces for industrial-grade durability.

- Induction-Hardened Edges: Induction-hardened cutting edges provide high blade hardness, retaining their sharpness over long periods and cutting thick sheet metal crisply without pinching or folding.

- PVC Dipped Handles: Thick PVC-coated steel handles—signature to the D118 series—ensure a firm, non-slip grip even with oily hands, reducing friction and fatigue when cutting thick materials.

- Bolted Joint: Fastened with a bolt and nut joint that allows disassembly for easy blade resharpening, prolonging the tool's service life.
