SUMO E308L-16 Stainless Steel Welding Electrode 2.0 mm is a Lime-Titania flux-coated welding electrode with extra-low carbon content, specifically designed for welding austenitic stainless steel. The 2.0 mm size allows precise welding on very thin workpieces without burn-through, delivering a bright, shiny, and highly rust-resistant weld bead.
Feature
Extra Low Carbon (L): The low carbon content prevents carbide precipitation (intergranular corrosion), providing the weld bead with superior intergranular corrosion resistance compared to standard grades.
Beautiful Weld Bead: The flux coating provides a smooth and stable arc, producing a neat, smooth weld bead with minimal spatter and an attractive shiny finish.
Easy Slag Removal: The slag covering the weld bead self-releases or chips off very easily, reducing post-weld finishing time.
Excellent Operability: Performs well with both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC); easy to use even for novice welders.
Precision Control: With a small diameter of only 2.0 mm, it is ideal for heat control when welding thin sheet stainless steel.
Application
Suitable for welding stainless steel grades 301, 302, 304, and 304L.
Used in decorative industries, stainless steel furniture, and railing work where weld bead aesthetics are essential.

Recommendation: If the welding electrodes are exposed to moisture, redry them at 200-250°C for 30-60 minutes to maintain maximum welding performance.
