SUMO ER70S-6 welding wire is a solid mild steel wire with high-quality copper coating, offering a smooth and uniform wire surface. Designed for welding applications requiring high penetration on thick workpieces. Used with shielding gas to provide strong weld seams, excellent tensile strength, and maximum efficiency in industrial-scale manufacturing.

Uniform Copper Coating: Thick and uniform copper coating provides excellent rust protection and ensures smooth, consistent electrical conductivity at the contact tip.

Excellent Deoxidation: Contains optimal levels of manganese and silicon to help eliminate impurities on the steel surface and reduce porosity in the weld bead.

Deep Penetration: With a wire size of 1.2 mm., it achieves deeper penetration in thick steel compared to smaller sizes, providing maximum structural strength.

Precision Layer Wound: Precision layer wound on the spool prevents wire tangling and ensures smooth, uninterrupted wire feeding.

Low Spatter: Stable and consistent arc produces low spatter, saving time and labor costs on post-weld grinding and finishing.

Application

Suitable for welding mild steel and industrial-grade structural steel of medium to heavy thickness.
