Before starting the engine

Carburetor adjustment

1. Stop the engine and tighten both the H and L pins until they stop. Then set the starting number of laps, as shown:
H needle : 1 ¼
L needle : 1 ¼
2. Start the engine and allow it to warm up at half the throttle.
3. Slowly turn the L hand clockwise to locate the maximum idle speed. Then set the needle a quarter (1/4) back, turning it counterclockwise.
4. Turn the idle adjustment screw (T) counterclockwise to prevent the saw chain from turning. If the idle speed is too slow turn the screw clockwise.
5. Perform a cutting test and adjust the needle H for the best cutting power. Not for top speed

Maintenance after each use

1. Before cleaning Let the engine cool down first. Remove the spark plugs to prevent accidental starting.
2. Air filter, clean the dirt from the net. Divide the cleaning solution in half. Then brush in gasoline. If using compressed air, blow from the inside.
3. Remove the guide bar and inspect the oil drain port for clogging.
4. Remove the guide bar, remove dust from the bar groove and oil inlet. Apply grease from the end of the handle.
5. Check for fuel leaks and fixing at joints, handles, guide bars. If loose, fix it immediately.
