     Charging the built-in battery Screwdriver Makita DF001DW

                  Use only the Makita AC adapter and USB cable to charge the tool. Use of the other type AC adapter and USB cable may cause the bat- tery to burst, result in personal injury and damage.

                  While charging, the built-in battery and AC adapter may become warm. This is normal and will continue until the built-in battery is fully charged and the AC adapter has been disconnected from the mains supply.

Screwdriving operation 

         - Place the point of the driver bit in the screw head and apply pressure to the tool. Then switch the tool on. When the screw head and surface of the workpiece becomes at, release the switch. 

         - Make sure that the driver bit is inserted straight in the screw head, or the screw and/or bit may be damaged. 

         - When driving wood screw, predrill a pilot hole 2/3 the diameter of the screw. It makes driving easier and prevents splitting of the workpiece.
