NIPPON PAINT Fiber Mesh Tape 20 cm x 30 m
NIPPON PAINT Fiber Mesh (size 20 cm x 30 m) is a jumbo-width fiberglass reinforcement mesh tape designed for structural engineering, large precast wall panel joints, and waterproofing systems requiring maximum bonding surface and tensile stress distribution. With its extra-wide 20 cm (200 mm) width, it securely bridges wide gap joints, butt joints between dissimilar materials (such as plastered walls and steel structures or columns/beams), and building settlement cracks, permanently preventing recurring cracks.

Features

- Jumbo 20 cm Coverage: Extra-wide 20 cm width distributes tensile and shear forces across joints over a wider area. Ideal for precast panel joints, precast slab joints, and structural joints subject to vibration.

- High Tensile & Structural Reinforcement: Tightly woven fiberglass yarns offer exceptionally high tensile strength, effectively preventing cracking and joint movement in structures.

- Self-Adhesive Backing for Easy Application: High-quality, strong adhesive bonds instantly to joints without requiring a primer coat of mortar first, saving installation time.

- Open Mesh Structure for Smooth, Bubble-Free Plastering: Open mesh design allows plaster or waterproofing compounds to penetrate and bond fully throughout the sheet, eliminating air pockets.

- High Alkali Resistance: The fibers are alkali-resistant coated, preventing degradation from reactions with cement, mortar, or architectural paints for long-lasting structural durability.

- Easy Application: Easily cut to desired lengths with a utility knife or scissors; conforms smoothly and neatly to corners, beam butt joints, and column edges.

Applications (Suitable for)

- Joint bonding for precast concrete panels and cast-in-place walls

- Sealing joints between dissimilar materials, such as brick-plaster walls and concrete columns, or steel structures and lightweight wall panels

- Joint bonding for fiber cement boards, Smartboards, and Viva boards in areas requiring extra strength

- Repairing large cracks and building settlement fissures, both interior and exterior

- Waterproofing systems for rooftops, concrete decks, balconies, and bathrooms, applied as reinforcement with acrylic or polyurethane waterproofing at joints and right-angle corners
