TRUSCO GR-2020FS multipurpose elastic rubber rope, high quality and weather-resistant
Secure your cargo and packages safely on every journey with the TRUSCO GR-2020FS industrial-grade flat multipurpose elastic rubber rope. A 100% genuine product of the highest quality standards, Made in Japan. The interior core is made from selected high-elasticity natural rubber (High-Elasticity Rubber Core), combined with an external braiding coating technology using extra-tough polypropylene (PP) fibers up to 20 mm wide. Both ends are fitted with carbon steel hooks coated with plastic to prevent scratches, offering exceptional durability and superior resistance to pulling and jerking forces. It stands out with its weather-resistant properties, resisting rot and UV cracking under intense sunlight. Ideal for transport technicians, logistics lines, and general tie-down tasks requiring speed and international-level safety.

Features

Maximum Weather & UV Resistance: The outer braided sleeve is treated to resist rain and intense UV radiation. The fibers resist mold, fading, and fraying or cracking during prolonged outdoor use.

High-Elasticity Flat Design: The 20 mm wide flat strap distributes clamping pressure over a wider contact area than conventional round bungee cords, protecting parcel box edges and corners from dents or tears.

Plastic-Coated Anti-Scratch Hooks: Extra-thick high-tensile steel hooks offer strong resistance to bending and twisting, finished with a smooth plastic coating to prevent the metal tips from scratching vehicle paint or workpiece surfaces.

Low Relaxation Core: The natural rubber core features excellent recovery performance (Low Relaxation), ensuring the strap does not sag or lose tension during travel over rough and vibrating road conditions.

Glue-Free & Reusable Integration: Fastens via natural elasticity and hook engagement without any chemical adhesive layers. Can be unhooked, repositioned, and reused tens of thousands of times with lasting durability.

Applications (Suitable for)

Used for strapping and securing luggage, toolboxes, or cargo packages on the back of motorcycles, pickup trucks, and transport trucks.

Ideal for hooking and tensioning tarpaulin edges over cargo piles to help absorb shock from wind gusts.

Used in maintenance workshops, warehouses, production lines, or adapted for camping and trekking to secure tents and multi-purpose luggage.
