The outer layer is protected by an extra-thick, tightly woven fabric sleeve that effectively shields the core fibers from abrasion, UV rays, and contaminants. A key advantage of round slings is their flexibility to conform snugly around workpieces and distribute pressure evenly, making them ideal for lifting delicate surfaces, coated pipes, hardened shafts, or expensive machinery without causing dents, dimples, or scratches unlike conventional steel chains or wire rope slings.
