The TAJIMA GAGL2550 (Rigid G-Lock 25) is a 5 m long, 25 mm wide steel tape measure developed by a leading measuring tool brand from Japan, specifically designed for heavy-duty use on construction job sites. It stands out with its "Rigid Strong Yellow Tape" technology, which increases the thickness and rigidity of the measuring blade spring by up to 1.5 times compared to standard tape measures. This enables tradespeople to extend the blade horizontally unsupported through the air up to 2.6 meters without bending or buckling. The rugged black case is made of premium-grade ABS plastic fully encased in an extra-thick elastomer rubber (Armored Case), delivering excellent shock absorption against drops.

1.5x Rigid Strong Tape: Extra-thick spring steel (SK85) blade enhances horizontal retention up to 2.6 meters without buckling, facilitating efficient solo measuring operations.

Armored Elastomer Guards: The body is fully encased in flexible elastomer resin to absorb shocks and provide maximum protection for internal mechanisms against high drops.

Hook Guard Bumper: Equipped with a rubber bumper around the hook entry (Claw Protector) to absorb rebound impacts during rapid tape rewinds, preventing the hook from chipping or breaking.

Double-Sided Scale (JIS Class 1): Easy-to-read, non-glare yellow blade face printed with sharp metric scales on both front and back (2-sided printing), certified to the highest Japanese Industrial Standards for accuracy.

Moving Hook for 0-Point Correction: Self-adjusting end hook automatically compensates for its own thickness, ensuring 100% accuracy for both hook-on and push-against measurements.

Large Belt Clip & Strap: Comes with a large top slide-lock button, a heavy-duty steel belt clip, and a wrist strap for added carrying convenience.
