The distinctive feature of this system is that flow control valve mechanisms are installed in both the plug and the socket. When connected together, both valves push against each other to open the path for free fluid flow. However, the split second you disconnect the coupling, the internal spring mechanism snaps shut, causing the valves on both sides to close simultaneously. This prevents pressurized fluids, chemicals, or gases in the pipeline from leaking, spraying, or dripping out, fully protecting operators from hazardous chemicals and preventing resource loss in the piping system.
