NITTO KOHKI Model NO.16405 is a Jetbroach Cutter with a rated hole diameter of 22.0 mm and a maximum drilling depth of 50 mm, directly imported from Japan. Designed for heavy structural steel engineering, beam assembly, and structural steel shapes (H-Beams / I-Beams), the cutter uses the principle of cutting metal only along the periphery of the hole (Annular Cutting). Unlike conventional drill bits that must pulverize all the metal, this reduces the load on magnetic base drilling machines, producing round, smooth holes with burr-free walls without the need for a pilot hole (No Pilot Hole Needed), saving technicians more than 3 times the time and labor compared to conventional methods.

Features

Premium TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tipped) Tooth Technology: The cutting tips are made of extra-thick industrial-grade tungsten carbide, offering outstanding resistance to heat buildup from high-speed friction against thick metals, and delivering consistent, continuous drilling in mild steel and stainless steel plates.

One-Touch Quick-Change Round Shank: The shank features an international standard round profile with a One-Touch quick-lock detent groove. It can be snapped and locked directly into the magnetic base drill arbor by hand with one hand, without using wrenches. It locks securely without slipping, ensuring maximum safety.

High-Efficiency Chip Ejection Flutes: The flutes around the cutter body are engineered with precise Japanese angles to rapidly evacuate chips (Chip Ejection), minimizing clogging inside which is the primary cause of cutter breakage within workpieces.

Impressive 50 mm Drilling Depth: Supports drilling through thick metal plates or stacked steel structures in a single feed stroke.
