The NITTO KOHKI HSP Cupla Model 8S-A is a 1-inch high-pressure quick connect coupler socket with a female thread, designed and manufactured in Japan to meet the demands of hydraulic systems and high-pressure pneumatics requiring maximum connection safety. The coupler features a two-way automatic shut-off valve on both the plug and socket ends. Upon disconnection, both valves instantly snap shut to prevent hydraulic fluid or high-pressure air from surging back and leaking out, helping maintain system pressure and keep work areas clean. Built from specially hardened steel (special steel - nickel plated), it offers outstanding resistance against impacts, severe impulse pressure, and heavy machinery vibrations. The precision-machined quick sleeve locking mechanism complies with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), allowing technicians to switch equipment quickly, conveniently, and with utmost safety.
