SUMO ER308Lsi stainless steel welding wire is a solid filler rod for the TIG (GTAW) welding process, made from an austenitic grade featuring extra low carbon content and higher silicon content to improve molten metal fluidity during melting. The standard 2.0 mm size is ideal for medium-thickness workpieces, producing exceptionally smooth and aesthetically pleasing weld beads.

Feature

High Silicon Content (Si): The increased silicon content reduces the surface tension of the molten metal, providing high fluidity for a flatter, smoother weld bead with excellent penetration.

Extra Low Carbon (L): Helps prevent intergranular corrosion, ensuring the weld joint is strong and long-term corrosion-resistant.

Excellent Arc Stability: Delivers a consistently stable arc, yielding a clean, bright weld bead with very minimal soot, reducing post-weld grinding steps.

Versatile Sizing: The 2.0 mm size provides a balance between wire feed precision and metal deposition speed, suitable for general stainless steel fabrication.

High Purity Metal: The wire is well-manufactured and surface-cleaned, free from impurities to achieve the highest welding standards.

Application

Suitable for welding grades 301, 302, 304, 304L, and 308 stainless steel.
