SUMO flux-cored welding wire model 308L (grade E308LT1-1) is a stainless steel flux-cored wire specifically designed for austenitic stainless steels. This wire provides a smooth, stable arc and a higher deposition rate than standard solid wires, helping complete welding jobs faster with excellent weld seam quality.
Feature
Extra Low Carbon (308L): Features extra-low carbon content, reducing the risk of carbide precipitation and giving the weld bead excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Excellent Weldability: Smooth arc, very low spatter, and good slag coverage over the weld bead.
Self-Peeling Slag: Slag peels off very easily or practically detaches by itself upon cooling, revealing a bright, shiny, and smooth weld bead.
Higher Productivity: Higher melting efficiency than conventional stainless steel welding wires, saving both time and labor costs.
All-Position Welding: Can be used in all welding positions (for 1.2 mm size, performs excellently in flat and vertical positions).
Application
Suitable for welding grades 301, 302, 304, 304L, and 308 stainless steel.
Used in the fabrication of food and pharmaceutical grade storage tanks (Food & Pharmaceutical Grade).
Stainless steel structural fabrication, piping work, and the petrochemical industry.
How to use: Must be used with shielding gas. 100% CO2 or 75% Argon + 25% CO2 mixed gas is recommended.
