The YAMADA energy absorber model Y-SA070 is a safety device designed to connect between a harness and an anchor point. Inside, it contains folded woven webbing. In the event of a fall, this webbing progressively tears open to dissipate fall energy into heat, reducing the impact force transmitted to the worker's body to a safe level.
