TRUSCO PK-7 Wire Mesh Steel Tray 465x265x96 mm

TRUSCO PK-7 Wire Mesh Steel Tray Size 465x265x96 mm.
The TRUSCO PK-7 steel tray is the next larger mesh tray in the PK series, focusing on efficient handling of parts requiring liquid or water drainage. It has external dimensions of 465x265x96 mm and a capacity of 7.7 liters. This tray is made of steel and finished with trivalent unichrome plating, offering high corrosion resistance while weighing only 1.2 kg. The perforated mesh design ensures liquids, oils, or production debris do not accumulate in the tray, keeping parts clean and dry at all times. It is also stackable to enhance industrial storage and transport efficiency.

Specifications
- Superior drainage of water/liquids: The perforated mesh structure with a 6 mm hole diameter allows liquids, oils, and various contaminants to drain away immediately, making it ideal for wet parts or parts requiring cleaning.
- High rust and corrosion resistance: Surface-treated with trivalent unichrome plating, an advanced plating method that offers higher corrosion resistance than conventional zinc plating and is environmentally friendly.
- Stackable design: Can be stacked stably to save space, thanks to the tapered design of the tray that reduces bulkiness when stacked.
- Lightweight relative to size: Despite its relatively large size and 7.7-liter capacity, it weighs only 1.2 kg, making it easy to handle and transport.

Applications & Usage
- Cleaning and degreasing processes:Used for holding parts that need to be immersed or cleaned with chemicals/oil. The mesh design allows liquids to drain quickly, reducing cycle time and preventing residue build-up.
- Air-drying and baking parts:Ideal for placing parts after washing, plating, or painting for quick and thorough drying, as the mesh holes provide excellent air circulation.
- Sorting oily or dirty parts:Used on production lines to separate oily or metal scrap-laden parts from clean ones to prevent contamination in subsequent steps, with oil and debris draining through the mesh holes.
- Storage in damp or wet areas: Treated with trivalent unichrome plating for high corrosion resistance, it is suitable for storing parts in high-humidity areas without worrying about rust formation.
