The Hickey-type conduit bender, also known as the Conduit Bender model B-1712, is specifically designed to efficiently bend larger sizes of heavy-wall conduit such as IMC (Intermediate Metallic Conduit) and Rigid Conduit. This tool accommodates conduits with diameters of 1 inch (25 mm) and 1.1/4 inches (32 mm). Its standout feature is the hardened teeth, which provide a firm grip on the conduit to prevent slipping during bending, especially with large and thick-walled pipes. In addition, it features an extra-long supporting socket to reduce the risk of handle breakage or damage during heavy use, and a notch in the radius of the bender head designed to protect pipe threads from damage during bending.
