The pliers feature a powerful box-joint design that provides a firm grip on workpieces without slipping (self-locking), reducing hand-squeezing effort during use. Manufactured from high-grade chrome vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened, with specially high-frequency induction-hardened gripping teeth for outstanding wear resistance. Ideal for gripping pipes, nuts, or metal workpieces in areas with electrical hazards.
Features
1000V VDE-Insulated Certified: Handles insulated with thick multi-component sleeves, tested to 10,000V VDE and certified for safe use up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC.
Self-Locking Mechanism: Jaws self-lock on pipes and nuts without requiring continuous squeezing force on the handles, reducing fatigue and preventing slippage.
9-Position Adjustment: Precise jaw width adjustment, accommodating pipes up to 2 inches (50 mm) and nuts up to 46 mm.
Specially Hardened Teeth: Teeth designed opposite the direction of rotation, high-frequency induction-hardened (hardness approx. 61 HRC) for high wear resistance and a long-lasting, secure grip.
Box-Joint Construction: Double-guide groove joint design provides high stability, absorbing heavy torsional loads without wobbling or shifting.
Pinch Guard: Handle stop spacing is designed for safety to prevent pinching the user's fingers during operation.
