The BESSEY D16L-SB is a premium aviation snip designed for left cuts and straight cuts. It features a compound leverage action system that noticeably reduces hand effort, allowing smooth cutting through thick sheet steel and stainless steel sheets. The blades are forged from high-grade steel hardened up to 59 HRC, with micro-serrations on the cutting edge that grip the metal sheet to prevent slipping during cutting. Supplied in hanging retail packaging (SB-Pack).

Features

- Compound Leverage Mechanism: The leverage joint structure significantly reduces the squeezing force required, preventing cumulative fatigue and hand muscle injuries during continuous cutting tasks.

- Finely ground left-curved blades (Left Cutting Direction): Designed for smooth curved cuts to the left. The snip blade automatically guides the cut sheet metal upward, making circular or curved cuts natural and safe.

- Induction-hardened cutting edges for extended sharpness: Forged from Chrome Vanadium steel with high-frequency hardened cutting edges that resist chipping, breakage, and dulling from cutting tough metals.

- Ergo-Plastic handles with soft rubber grip: Extra-thick polymer-molded handles with an ergonomic finger contour and slip guards to prevent hands from sliding forward onto sharp metal edges during use.

- Latch mechanism and automatic opening spring: Equipped with a well-balanced return spring that opens the jaws immediately after cutting, increasing work speed, along with an easy single-handed metal safety latch.
