The KNIPEX 74 07 250 Heavy Duty High Leverage Diagonal Cutter VDE 1000V 250 mm is the largest heavy-duty model in the German-standard insulated series, designed to deliver maximum cutting performance paired with high-voltage safety. The extra-thick, two-color insulated handles are tested in accordance with VDE / IEC 60900 standards, insulating against voltages up to 1,000V. Featuring a forged-on joint axle combined with a 250 mm length for increased leverage, it reduces cutting effort by 20% compared to conventional cutters. The chrome-plated head protects against rust and corrosion, making it ideal for professional electricians cutting large hard wire, spring wire, and piano wire in control cabinets or main power lines.
