KNIPEX 72 51 160 Fibre Optics Diagonal Cutter 160 mm

KNIPEX 72 51 160 Fibre Optics Diagonal Cutter 160 mm
The KNIPEX 72 51 160 Fibre Optics Diagonal Cutter 160 mm is a professional tool directly from Germany, specifically designed for telecommunications technicians, internet network technicians, and electronics applications. This model features flush-ground cutting edges without bevel (Flush Cut), enabling the most precise and clean cutting of glass fibre cables, preventing damage to the glass fibres or internal structure. The cutting edges are induction-hardened to a high hardness of up to 64 HRC, extending service life. In addition, an integrated opening spring automatically opens the jaws, reducing hand muscle fatigue during repetitive cutting. The handles are coated with high-quality plastic for a firm grip, with a lightweight of only 172 g.
Features
Flush Cut: Cutting edges ground without bevel provide maximum smoothness on fibre optic cable cuts, reducing the risk of glass fibre breakage.
Hardened Edges: Induction-hardened cutting edges offer a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, accommodating razor-sharp cuts on specialized materials.
Opening Spring: Built-in spring mechanism automatically pushes the jaws open, increasing working speed and reducing hand fatigue.
Elongated Cutting Edges: Specially designed long edges provide easy access to confined spaces or precision cutting tasks.
Premium-grade material: Forged from vanadium electric steel, oil-hardened for maximum strength and durability.
High-quality plastic handles: Quality plastic coating (PVC coated) provides a firm, comfortable grip that will not slip during operation.
Applications (Suitable for)
Installation and maintenance of fiber optic cables and communication network systems
Cutting and preparing internet, telecommunications, and network signal cables before splicing / terminating
Electronic component assembly work requiring high precision and delicate cutting
