The KNIPEX 49 31 A2 precision external circlip pliers are high-standard tools from Germany, specifically designed for installing and removing external circlips on shafts from 19-60 mm. The highlight of this model is the Overexpansion Guard mechanism, which can be adjusted with a hex screw to prevent the user from overexpanding circlips and causing deformation or damage. The pliers are forged and oil-hardened from chrome vanadium electric steel. The tips are made of high-density spring steel wire inserted into the body, offering up to 10 times longer service life than conventional pliers. Equipped with an internal captive spring and bolted joint, they ensure smooth, precise operation and heavy-duty durability.
