KNIPEX 40 14 250 Universal Grip Pliers 250 mm

KNIPEX 40 14 250 Universal Grip Pliers 250 mm
KNIPEX 40 14 250 Universal Grip Pliers with combination jaws, size 10 inches / 250 mm, is a premium workpiece clamping tool built to the highest manufacturing standards from Germany. Designed to securely and firmly clamp, grip, and lock flat, round, and hexagonal workpieces with maximum stability. Ideal for mechanical work, welding, metal fabrication assembly, and industrial plant maintenance.
The pliers are forged from chrome vanadium electric steel and specially heat-treated. The jaws are specifically engineered as universal/combination jaws to grip a variety of shapes. Features an adjustment screw for clamping pressure along with a safe one-handed quick release lever that prevents pinch recoil. The body is made from high-strength rolled steel, delivering a secure grip that resists slipping even under heavy loads.
Features
Versatile combination jaws: Designed with both flat and curved sections to effectively grip round, square, and hexagonal workpieces.
Powerful locking mechanism: Easily adjust clamping pressure via the screw at the end of the handle, with a release lever/button that allows smooth and safe unlocking.
Highly durable steel construction: Made from hardened chrome vanadium steel, resistant to extreme torsion, prying, and clamping forces.
High clamping pressure without continuous effort: Toggle lever action multiplies gripping force, eliminating the need to maintain manual squeezing pressure.
High-quality surface finish: Coated for rust and corrosion protection, ensuring a long service life in tough workshop environments.
Applications
Welding Work: Used to clamp steel sheets, pipes, or metal parts together in preparation for welding.
Machinery and automotive maintenance: Grips stripped, damaged, or rounded nuts, screws, and bolt heads for removal.
Structural assembly and mechanical work: Clamps corner joints, pipe sections, or flat workpieces during cutting, bending, or drilling processes.
General workshop and DIY tasks: Serves as a temporary bench vise or clamp to securely hold objects.
