KNIPEX 09 15 240 Heavy Duty Lineman's Pliers 240 mm

Heavy Duty Lineman's Pliers KNIPEX 09 15 240 Size 240 mm
Maximum power, soft and comfortable grip, and ready for cutting, twisting, and pulling in classic American style! The KNIPEX 09 15 240 Heavy Duty Lineman's Pliers, size 240 mm (9.5 inches), are top-tier pliers engineered to meet the demands of transmission line workers, power electricians, and industrial structural builders who regularly need to cut and grip thick materials. This model features a "Lineman's Pliers" design that positions the pivot point closer to the cutting edge, delivering tremendous leverage and helping to "save up to 50% cutting effort" compared to conventional combination pliers. The extra-large jaws with cross-hatched knurled gripping zones provide high gripping force, allowing you to pull nails, pull cables, or twist thick copper wires securely without slipping. Paired with thick multi-component grips combining hard and soft plastics, they are soft and comfortable in the hand, effectively distributing heavy squeezing pressure and reducing hand fatigue. Forged from special grade chrome vanadium electric steel and oil-hardened, the cutting edges are induction-hardened to approximately 64 HRC, allowing you to cut everything from cables to extra-hard piano wire.
Features
Lineman 50% High Leverage: The high-leverage joint design places the pivot closer to the cutting edges, reducing required manual effort by half compared to conventional pliers.
Two-Tone Multi-Component Grips: Firm grip that won't slip from your hand; absorbs pressure and helps protect hands during continuous work.
Extra-Hard 64 HRC Cutting Edges: Induction-hardened to cut medium-hard wire, hard wire, and piano wire cleanly without chipping.
Cross-Hatched Serrated Jaws: Cross-pattern serrations maximize gripping power on workpieces, ideal for twisting wires or pulling thick materials.
Cable Pulling and Crimping Zone: Features an underneath-the-joint space for pulling cable and conveniently crimping standard terminal lugs/ferrules.
Premium Chrome Vanadium Steel: Meticulously drop-forged to withstand heavy torque and sudden shocks on demanding job sites.
Applications (Suitable for)
