Heavy-Duty Lineman's Pliers KNIPEX 09 01 240 SB Size 240 mm
Maximum American-style power for heavy-duty cutting, twisting, and gripping! KNIPEX 09 01 240 SB Heavy-Duty Lineman's Pliers, size 240 mm (9.5 inches), legendary pliers designed to meet the demands of linemen, power electricians, and industrial construction workers. Comes in a clear plastic card pack with a hanging hole (SB / Blister Pack) for convenient portability and storage. This model features a "Lineman's Pliers" design with the pivot point moved closer to the cutting edges, providing enormous leverage that helps "save up to 50% cutting effort" compared to standard combination pliers. The extra-large gripping jaws with a cross-hatched knurled gripping zone deliver high holding power to pull nails, pull cables, or firmly twist thick copper wires without slipping. Manufactured from special high-grade chrome vanadium steel, oil-hardened, with induction-hardened cutting edges to an exceptional hardness of 64 HRC, capable of cutting anything from cables to extra-hard piano wire.
Features
Lineman 50% High Leverage: The high-leverage joint design places the pivot closer to the cutting edges, reducing required manual effort by half compared to conventional pliers.
SB Packaging (Self-Service/Blister Pack): Packaged in a sturdy clear plastic card with a hanging hole, convenient for organized storage or hanging on a tool board
Extra-Hard 64 HRC Cutting Edges: Induction-hardened to cut medium-hard wire, hard wire, and piano wire cleanly without chipping.
Cross-Hatched Serrated Jaws: Cross-pattern serrations maximize gripping power on workpieces, ideal for twisting wires or pulling thick materials.
Cable Pulling and Crimping Zone: Features an underneath-the-joint space for pulling cable and conveniently crimping standard terminal lugs/ferrules.
Anti-Slip Grip plastic handles: Dense plastic coating for a secure, non-slip grip, resistant to oil and chemicals
Premium Chrome Vanadium Steel: Meticulously drop-forged to withstand heavy torque and sudden shocks on demanding job sites.
