TESA 4600 Self-Amalgamating Silicone Tape, Black, 25 mm x 3 m

- Permanent self-amalgamating silicone: The tape fuses onto itself immediately upon wrapping, forming a seamless sleeve or jacket that provides a 100% waterproof and airtight seal
- Pressure and extreme temperature resistance (Xtreme Conditions): Withstands water or air pressure up to 12 bar (when wrapped to the recommended thickness) and maintains performance across temperatures from -65°C to +260°C
- High dielectric insulation (Excellent Dielectric Strength): High voltage insulation resistance up to 8,000 volts (8 kV), ensuring maximum safety for damaged wiring repairs
- Chemical and weather resistant (UV & Chemical Proof): Excellent resistance to diluted acids and alkalis, transmission fluid, engine oil, corrosive solvents, and harsh UV radiation
- Easy, residue-free removal (Clean Removal): Since it contains no chemical adhesive, it can be easily removed by simply slicing with a cutter knife, leaving the original surface completely clean and intact

Applications (Suitable for)
- Used for emergency leak repairs on water pipes, automotive fuel/oil lines, air hoses, and high-pressure air conditioning lines
- Used to wrap as insulation against moisture, water, and electrical current on wire terminals, cable insulation, and electrical connectors outdoors or in engine compartments
- Used for pipe system maintenance in marine applications, automobiles, forklifts, and heavy industrial machinery; also used to wrap tool handles for an anti-slip grip and vibration reduction
