TESA 4965 Original (Tesaflex®) is a premium, high-performance double-sided PET film tape widely recognized and chosen across industrial and professional maintenance sectors. Featuring a structural PET (Polyester) film core with high tensile strength combined with a specially formulated tackified acrylic adhesive, this tape excels in shear resistance and heavy load-bearing capabilities—even on low surface energy (LSE) substrates or challenging plastic surfaces. The tape comes with an eye-catching red MOPP film release liner for easy peeling, while the transparent, colorless adhesive blends seamlessly into your workpieces.

Features

- High temperature resistance: Capable of withstanding long-term operating temperatures up to 100 °C and short-term peak processing temperatures up to 200 °C without the adhesive melting or peeling off.
- Immediate usability: The special acrylic adhesive formula provides exceptionally high initial tack, allowing parts to bond securely and be ready for immediate use right after assembly.
- All-around environmental and chemical resistance: Resists UV radiation, intense sunlight, humidity, chemicals, dilute acids/alkalis, and notably offers plasticizer resistance (softener/plasticizer resistance) commonly found in rubber and plastic parts, preventing the adhesive from softening or oozing over time.
- Meets the highest international safety standards: Certified under UL 969 standards for electronic equipment components and tested to the highest flammability safety standard DIN EN 45545-2 (R1 & HL3), which is the strictest safety standard in rail and automotive transit systems.
