The BESSEY SKS20/40 is a high-quality protective plastic/rubber strip (Pressure Cap Strip) made to German standards, designed to fit onto the jaws of BESSEY screw clamps. Its key feature is acting as a "cushioning pad" that allows you to apply full clamping pressure with cast iron or steel clamps against workpieces without leaving dents, scratches, or marks on delicate wood surfaces. The strip is made from a special-grade, tough, and flexible plastic that withstands repeated compressive forces. It can be cut to any desired length and is easy to slip on from either side of the clamp.
