BESSEY ST290 Telescopic Drywall Support Rod, Adjustable 1600-2900 mm
The BESSEY ST290 support rod is a tool designed to support and hold walls, drywall, gypsum board, ceilings, or other sheet materials during installation. This Bessey support rod is telescopic, allowing you to adjust the height as needed. It can extend from 1600 mm to 2900 mm, offering versatile height adjustment to accommodate various ceiling or wall heights. It uses a ratchet mechanism for easy and safe height adjustments. This mechanism allows you to lock the support at the desired height, preventing it from slipping or collapsing during use. It has a load capacity of up to 60 kg. The support rod features a sturdy yet lightweight construction, making it easy to transport and use in different locations.

Features
- Highly flexible telescopic steel structural tube: Freely slides to adjust the length from 1600-2900 mm, covering standard room heights.
- Dual Lock System: Combines a quick-release lever lock for initial positioning with a threaded spindle lock to safely achieve maximum support force.
- Non-slip, adjustable PVC base pads (Swivel Base Pads): Top and bottom contact pads are coated with special PVC rubber, leaving no scratches on surfaces.
- Maximum load capacity of 60 kg: Designed to stably handle heavy vertical loads, excellently preventing materials from falling onto operators.

Applications (Suitable for)
- Ceiling and drywall installation (Drywall & Ceiling Installation): Used to prop up and hold gypsum boards, ceiling panels, or smartboards flush against the C-channel frame, allowing workers to easily drive screws without needing a helper to lift and hold them.
- Door and window frame installation (Door & Window Framing): Used to prop and hold built-in cabinets, moldings, or frame edges in precise alignment while waiting for cement glue or PU foam to set.
- Temporary construction site support (Temporary Construction Support): Used to prop up barriers, room partitions, or decorative panels for safety during area clearance or workpiece assembly.
