BESSEY STC-HH50SB Horizontal toggle clamp

The BESSEY STC-HH50SB is a German-standard horizontal toggle clamp that completely breaks away from traditional toggle clamps with BESSEY's proprietary Automatic Distance Adjustment. This allows the clamp to instantly lock onto workpieces of varying thicknesses without having to manually readjust the screw every time. The handle is designed to lie horizontally when locked, keeping the workpiece surface clear and unobstructed. Made from hardened steel for extreme durability and fitted with a soft, comfortable rubber-grip handle, it is ideal for mounting on workbenches, welding tables, drilling jigs, and production lines requiring high speed and precision.

Features

- Automatic Height Adjustment: Automatically adjusts clamping distance to lock onto workpieces of different thicknesses up to 35 mm, while maintaining a firm and consistent clamping force—massively saving working time.

- Adjustable Clamping Force: Even with automatic height adjustment, you can still fine-tune the maximum clamping force up to 2,500 N (approx. 250 kg) using the set screw on the joint, making it suitable for both hard and delicate materials.

- Horizontal Handle Design: In the locked position, the handle lies parallel to the surface, leaving the area above the workpiece clear so that tools such as sanders, trimmers, or welding torches can work without interference from the handle.

- Heavy-Duty & Robust Base: The base plate and body are made from heat-treated steel for high strength and a long service life, featuring vertical and horizontal slotted holes (Slotted Base) to easily accommodate M5/M6 or imperial mounting bolts on workbenches and jigs.

- Ergonomic 2-Component Handle: Ergonomically contoured handle made of smart plastic with a soft rubber grip that fits comfortably in the hand, prevents slipping, and resists jobsite oils and chemicals.
