NITTO KOHKI Jetbroach annular cutter model NO.16438, 38 mm size (35 mm cutting depth). An industrial-standard, high-performance metal hole-cutting innovation from Japan, commonly known among professionals as "Jetbroach" or "Annular Cutter." Designed for full compatibility with magnetic drill presses, it cuts only the periphery of the hole unlike conventional twist drills that must remove all material. This enables the Jetbroach to penetrate structural steel and thick plates rapidly and accurately without the need for a pilot hole, saving machine torque, reducing heat buildup, and noticeably boosting production line efficiency.

Features

Premium Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) cutting teeth: The cutting tips are made of high-quality tungsten carbide with precisely staggered cutting angles, offering excellent resistance to heat and wear, providing smooth drilling through hard or structural steel and a longer service life than conventional cutters.

One-Touch Shank quick-change system: The cutter's shank is designed with a One-Touch system (no protruding pins or universal shanks with alternating locking indents), allowing instant push-to-lock installation into chucks on NITTO and other leading magnetic drills. It is convenient, fast, and extremely safe without requiring any tightening tools.

Smooth, burr-free drilling: With peripheral cutting mechanics, the center metal drops out as a cylindrical slug, resulting in round, clean, and smooth-surfaced holes true to specification with precise dimensions that virtually eliminate the need for edge deburring.

Smooth chip evacuation (Optimized Flute Geometry): The side flutes are ground at an optimal angle to quickly clear metal chips and dissipate heat, preventing chips from jamming insidewhich is the primary cause of cutter breakage
