NITTO KOHKI Jetbroach Annular Cutter Model NO.16440, size 40 mm (cutting depth 35 mm) – an innovative, high-quality Japanese-engineered hole cutter for thick metal plates and structural steel, widely preferred by technicians and procurement specialists. Operating by cutting only the peripheral rim of the hole unlike traditional twist drill bits that grind and remove all material, the Jetbroach penetrates workpieces rapidly, accurately, and smoothly without requiring a pilot hole. This substantially reduces the torque and load on magnetic drilling machines, conserving energy, extending tool lifespan, and markedly boosting industrial job-site productivity.

Features

Premium Tungsten Carbide Tipped (TCT) Cutting Edges: Teeth are tipped with high-grade carbide offering superior hardness and ground with alternating precision angles. Outstandingly resistant to heat buildup and wear, enabling continuous, long-term drilling through heavy structural steel.

One-Touch Quick-Change Shank System: Designed without an extended arbor (universal 19 mm or 3/4 inch shank with locking notches), allowing operators to push and lock the cutter into magnetic drill chucks swiftly. Facilitates cutter changes in seconds with no wrenches required.

Round, smooth, burr-free holes: Through peripheral cutting, the center steel core automatically ejects as a cylindrical slug upon breakthrough, leaving a smooth interior finish within specification dimensions, with sharp, clean hole edges that virtually eliminate the need for secondary deburring.

Optimized Flute Geometry: The spiral flutes around the body are designed with an optimal helix angle to channel metal chips and deliver coolant deep into the cut, preventing chip clogging inside, which is the primary cause of carbide tooth breakage.
