SUMO ER4043 Aluminum TIG Welding Wire 3.2 mm
SUMO ER4043 welding wire is an aluminum rod wire for TIG (GTAW) welding processes containing approximately 5% silicon (Al-Si5). The 3.2 mm size is a large wire ideal for welding very thick workpieces, allowing rapid metal deposition and excellent joint fill. The molten pool has high fluidity and a lower melting point than other wire grades.

High Deposition Rate: The 3.2 mm diameter allows high metal deposition per pass, ideal for large joints.

Excellent Fluidity: Silicon content provides superior puddle fluidity, making the weld pool easy and consistent to control.

Hot Crack Resistance: Outstanding properties in reducing weld cracking during cooling (Hot Cracking).

Low Heat Input: Low melting point reduces heat accumulation in the workpiece, minimizing distortion in thick aluminum parts.

Aesthetic Finish: Delivers a bright, clean, and consistently smooth weld bead appearance.

Application

Suitable for welding 6061, 6063 aluminum grades and various cast aluminum grades.

Used in heavy structural industries such as shipbuilding, large containers, and heavy machinery repair.

Commonly used for repairing engine cylinder blocks or extra-thick aluminum components.

How to use: Must be used with a TIG welding machine (AC current) and 100% pure Argon shielding gas
