SUMO ER308Lsi is an austenitic solid stainless steel MIG welding wire featuring extra-low carbon content and higher silicon content. Designed to enhance weld puddle fluidity during welding, it provides good penetration, a smooth and flat weld bead surface, and an exceptionally bright finish.

High Silicon Content (Si): High silicon content provides excellent weld puddle fluidity, reduces weld bead convexity, and improves edge wetting

Extra Low Carbon (L): Helps prevent intergranular corrosion after welding, ensuring strength and durability

Smooth Arc & Low Spatter: Highly stable arc with minimal spatter, saving time and reducing hassle during post-weld cleanup

Excellent Appearance: Weld beads are bright, shiny, and clean, suitable for cosmetic welds

Precision Layer Wound: Neatly wound wire provides continuous, smooth feeding without snagging in the torch cable

Application

Suitable for welding grades 301, 302, 304, 304L, and 308 stainless steel.

Used in ornamental industries, automotive exhaust pipes, food and beverage industries, and stainless steel pressure vessel manufacturing

Instructions for Use: Must be used with shielding gas; recommended to use Argon + 2% CO2 or Argon + 1-2% O2 gas mixture for optimal performance

Recommendations: Since the 0.8 mm wire size is relatively small, use a clean drive roll set and welding torch liner to prevent wire bending or jamming
