NIPPON PAINT Fiber Mesh Tape, Size 1 m x 100 m
NIPPON PAINT Fiber Mesh (Size 1 m x 100 m) is a large-format, industrial-grade fiberglass reinforcement mesh with a 1-meter width and a generous 100-meter roll length, covering up to 100 square meters per roll. Designed as a tensile reinforcement framework for building engineering, rooftop/deck waterproofing systems, external finishing plaster work (EIFS/ETICS), and precast concrete walls requiring extra structural strength.

Features

- Full-Scale 100 Sq.m. Coverage: Large 1 x 100 m roll quickly covers large surface areas, reduces seams between sheets, and helps maintain a continuous, strong, and seamless large-format structure.

- High Tensile Structural Reinforcement: Fiberglass strands withstand high multi-directional tensile and shear forces, helping distribute pressure and absorb building vibrations or thermal movement to prevent cracking and debonding issues.

- Alkali Resistant High-Grade Coating: Specially formulated polymer-coated fibers provide superior protection against alkali corrosion from cement and mortar, preventing degradation and extending service life.

- Open Mesh Embedding: Precisely spaced mesh openings allow plaster and acrylic waterproofing to penetrate easily, ensuring smooth troweling without air pockets or bubbles underneath the mesh.

- Puncture & Tear Resistant: Outstanding resistance to tearing, punctures, and on-site abrasion, while remaining easy to cut to size and fit into corners using a utility knife or shears.

Applications (Suitable for)

- Waterproofing systems for rooftops, concrete decks, drainage gutters, and bathrooms by embedding as reinforcement between layers of acrylic waterproofing, polyurethane waterproofing, or cementitious waterproofing.

- Interior and exterior wall plastering, lightweight concrete block walls, and precast walls to prevent hairline cracks and cracking caused by structural settlement.

- External wall insulation systems (EIFS / ETICS) to enhance resistance to external impacts

- Bonding large structural joints, such as joints between precast walls and beams, or joints between dissimilar materials subject to movement

- Reinforcing corners, edges, cornices, and right-angle turns in concrete work
