Elevate safety to the highest level when moving loads in hazardous chemical environments with the TRUSCO TG50-35C Chemical-Resistant Polypropylene Web Sling. Designed and manufactured to advanced industrial engineering JIS Grade 1 standards directly from Japan. The woven sling structure is made of 100% pure polypropylene (PP) fibers, offering superior resistance to concentrated acids and strong alkalis, unlike conventional nylon or polyester slings that deteriorate and degrade immediately upon chemical contact. Featuring a standard 50 mm width and a 3.5 m rated length, it rolls up easily and connects securely to cranes or electric hoists in compliance with international safety standards.
Features
Maximum Acid and Alkali Resistance (Chemical Resistant): The PP material layer undergoes a chemical treatment so that its molecular structure is not damaged by chemicals, strong acids, or concentrated alkalis. Ideal for electroplating industries, chemical plants, and processing operations.
International Standard JIS Grade 1: Rigorously tested for breaking strength and load capacity in accordance with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). Ensures mechanical safety (High Tensile).
Lightweight and Performs Well in Wet Conditions (Wet Use): The sling does not absorb water, does not foster mold, and does not gain weight when used in damp environments or submerged in chemical baths.
Soft Woven Structure that Protects Workpieces: Although built for heavy-duty applications, the surface is soft to the touch, preventing scratches or dents on delicate surfaces or painted workpieces.
