MAKITA DJV185RFJ 18V Cordless Jigsaw with 3.0Ah Battery, Charger & Makpac Case

MAKITA DJV185RFJ 18V Cordless Jigsaw with 3.0Ah Battery + Charger + Makpac Case
A high-performance professional cordless jigsaw set operating on Makita's 18V LXT battery platform. Powered by a compact Brushless Motor, the tool is designed with a Barrel Handle Design (low-profile body without a top handle), allowing the user to grip the tool lower and closer to the workpiece, providing exceptional control over curved cuts and high-precision cutting applications. The tool comes with a Variable Speed Dial control system, adjusting stroke speed from 800 to 3,000 SPM, with 3-stage orbital settings plus 1 straight cutting mode to quickly accelerate cutting speed in wood. The rigid cast aluminum base provides durability, low vibration loss, and smooth, quiet operation. It also features a tool-less blade clamp system that inserts and ejects jigsaw blades by pressing a lever without any hand tools, along with a front dust blower and a built-in LED work light with an automatic dimming function when cutting upside down under the workpiece. The "RFJ" suffix code comes as a complete, ready-to-use set consisting of the jigsaw bare tool, a 3.0Ah battery, a fast charger, and a Makpac carrying case.

Features
- Brushless BL Motor delivers high operational efficiency, superior power control, runs cooler, and requires no carbon brush replacements throughout its service life.
- Barrel Handle design allows a firm, close-in grip on the body, providing more stable center-of-gravity control compared to conventional top-handle designs.
- Orbital action adjustment system offers 3 orbital stages and 1 straight cutting stage, allowing you to choose the optimal setting for your cutting speed and material type.
- Variable Speed Control Dial allows precise speed selection from 800 to 3,000 strokes per minute.
- 26 mm (1 inch) stroke length helps teeth clear chips rapidly and effectively cut through thicker workpieces.
- Tool-less Blade Change system allows quick and easy insertion and ejection of B-shank jigsaw blades without needing a wrench.
- Equipped with an Electric Brake that immediately stops blade strokes when the switch is released, ensuring maximum user safety.
- Features a Soft No-Load system that automatically reduces motor speed when idling, minimizing vibration during startup and when aligning the blade with the wood surface.
- Built-in dual LED work lights enhance cutline visibility, complete with an automatic dimming function to prevent glare when operating the tool upside down.
- Built-in Dust Blower at the blade front clears away dust and sawdust, keeping the cutline visible at all times.
- Die-cast aluminum base plate is rugged and durable, with bevel capacity from 0 to 45 degrees both left and right.

Applications
- Wood scrollwork and curved cutting: Ideal for carpenters, cabinetmakers, or interior contractors for scrollwork patterns, smooth corner curves, or cutouts in thick wood boards.
- Multi-purpose cutting: Used for cutting particle boards, MDF, acrylic sheets, PVC pipes, as well as aluminum and soft stainless steel sheets.
- Upside-down Cutting: With its barrel grip shape, it is perfect for cutting from underneath the wooden workpiece to trim edges of tabletops or cabinets without splintering the top surface.
