TRUSCO WWS8-20 is a premium-grade braided steel wire rope with anti-rust zinc-galvanized coating, featuring a machine-crimped aluminum sleeve-lock end termination adhering to Japanese factory safety standards. With an 8 mm diameter cross-section and a full 20-meter length, it is designed as a high-quality replacement wire rope for hand winches or for pulling and vertical lifting applications. Its standout feature is an engineered braided construction that delivers high flexibility with low stretch, offering exceptional resistance to twisting and sudden shock loads under heavy-duty conditions. The rope end is fitted with a ductile steel hook equipped with a safety latch to prevent detachment, ensuring maximum confidence in every lifting and pulling operation.

Features

High-Strength Sleeve Lock: The wire rope loop termination is swaged using a high-pressure machine. The sleeve grips the rope core tightly and permanently, preventing slippage and distributing the full rated tensile load across the structure.

Galvanized Coating: The steel wire is evenly coated with zinc galvanization to protect against rust, resisting sun exposure, rain moisture, and dilute chemicals.

Premium Safety Hook: Equipped with an extra-hardened forged steel hook that is strong and durable, complete with a safety spring latch that automatically closes the hook throat for maximum safety.

Anti-Twist Steel Core: The wire stranding method is designed to reduce internal torque, helping prevent the cable from spinning or swinging violently while lifting objects.
