TRUSCO TUV5000-3654 Premium Ultra Heavy Duty UV Tarpaulin from the UV5000 series, which is the most sun-resistant tarp product line from the TRUSCO brand in Japan. It is engineered specifically for long-term protection of assets, machinery, and materials against intense ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The tarp is woven from high-density polyethylene (PE) with an extra thickness of 0.47 mm. The surface is heavily coated on both sides with UV stabilizers, providing an outdoor lifespan under harsh sunlight of up to 5 years (2-3 times longer than standard-grade tarps). The edges feature folded-over stitched construction for added toughness and are fitted with rust-proof aluminum grommets around the perimeter at a standard spacing of every 90 cm. This allows for convenient, secure, and taut tie-down, preventing easy tearing during severe windstorms.

Features

Ultra-Thick 0.47 mm: Extra-thick polyethylene sheet construction, neatly cross-woven, resistant to abrasion and tearing, and capable of withstanding heavy twisting tension from storm winds.

UV5000 Rating (Maximum UV Protection and Resistance): Blended with high-concentration heat and UV antioxidants; the fabric will not become dry, brittle, or flaky even when deployed and exposed to intense sunlight 365 days a year in outdoor conditions.

100% Waterproof & Weather Seal: Smooth surface coated with plastic to completely prevent water penetration 100%, offering excellent protection against rainwater, moisture, oil stains, and dilute acids and alkalis.

Anti-Rust Aluminum Grommets: Genuine aluminum metal grommets that prevent red rust stains from corroding and damaging the tarp material. Fastened around the edges every 90 cm to help distribute tension evenly when tied down.
