The TRUSCO TBV-125 is a 5-inch jaw width drill press vise (actual jaw width approx. 130 mm). The main body is made from high-grade Japanese ductile cast iron (FCD450), which outperforms conventional gray cast iron in toughness, resists brittle fracture, and delivers excellent shock resistance and high clamping capacity for heavy-duty applications. This drill vise is designed to be mounted to a drill press work table to securely lock metal, wood, or plastic workpieces in place, preventing the workpiece from spinning or kicking back against the drill bit's rotation—a primary cause of broken drill bits and serious workshop accidents. The base features wide mounting bolt slots, allowing quick and convenient centering of the jaws with the drill spindle.
