The TRUSCO LVL-150 6-inch (150 mm) bench vise, directly imported from Japan, is a special "Lightweight / Economy Class Type" lead vise designed to overcome the limitations of conventional large vises that are often too heavy to move easily. While standard 150 mm vises typically weigh nearly 30 kg, TRUSCO engineered the LVL-150 by stripping away unnecessary bulk, reducing the weight to just 11.2 kg. This allows for effortless lifting, repositioning between workbenches, or transporting to off-site jobs with high mobility.

Despite being a lightweight model, durability is uncompromised. The main body is constructed from ductile cast iron (grade FCD450), which provides superior resistance to impact, stress, and torsion compared to standard gray cast iron, reliably preventing base cracking issues. The jaw faces and drive screw are made of hardened carbon steel, delivering a consistent, high clamping force of up to 20 kN for tight, secure locking without slippage or play. It also comes equipped with an anvil area at the rear for versatile hammering and light metal shaping tasks.
