TAJIMA LC501B/Y1 Utility Knife

TAJIMA LC501B/Y1 Utility Knife with High-Quality Steel Sleeve for General Use
The TAJIMA LC501B/Y1 multi-purpose utility knife with a standard 18 mm blade (classic yellow handle) is an authentic Japanese heavy-duty contractor- and industrial-grade utility knife renowned for its durability and cutting stability. It features a "Screw Lock" system that clamps the blade securely and firmly inside the stainless steel sleeve, preventing the blade from vibrating, slipping, or retracting when encountering resistance from thick materials. The body is made of bright yellow composite ABS engineering plastic that resists jobsite drops and impacts, ergonomically shaped for a secure, full-palm grip.

Features
High-Torque Screw Lock System: Stainless steel screw lock knob provides a rock-solid clamping force on the blade, making it feel integrated with the handle. The blade will never slip back, even when applying heavy pressure on very thick and hard materials.
Stainless Steel Support Sleeve: Full-length internal stainless steel sleeve supports the blade against twisting or bending during cuts, reducing wear and ensuring straight, precise cutting lines.
High-Impact ABS Housing: The outer handle is molded from premium-grade, extra-thick and tough ABS plastic, resisting drops on concrete floors, scratches, as well as oil mist and industrial chemicals.
Removable End Snapper: The plastic end cap of the utility knife can be removed and reversed to use its slotted groove as a blade snapper to cleanly, conveniently, and safely snap off dull blade segments without needing pliers.
