TAJIMA SCR-C75 Stainless Steel Through-Tang Scraper
The TAJIMA SCR-C75 (Scrape-Rite Solid Core Series) is a genuine premium 75 mm wide stainless steel scraper from Japan. It features an engineered "push through" (Solid Through-Tang) structure, where the stainless steel blade and the metal striking cap at the end of the handle are formed as a single continuous piece running completely through the handle core. This allows impact force from hammer strikes to be transferred directly and powerfully to the blade tip without flexing or structural breakage. The blade is made from premium SUS420J2 stainless steel with an extra thickness of 1.8 mm and is heat-treated to retain sharpness longer, resist wear and chemicals, and remain 100% rust-free. The handle consists of a rigid plastic core wrapped with a thick, soft elastomer rubber that absorbs vibration to prevent hand strain.

1.8mm Thick SUS420J2 Stainless Steel: An extra-thick 1.8 mm high-carbon stainless steel blade that is exceptionally strong, resists chipping or bending, and is completely rust-resistant even when exposed to chemicals and paint strippers.

Extra-Wide Striking Cap: Equipped with a wide, thick metal striking cap at the handle end, providing a larger target area for accurate, safe, and highly durable hammer strikes.

Ergonomic 2-Component Grip: Ergonomically designed handle made of tough resin combined with soft, non-slip yellow-and-black elastomer rubber, offering a secure, comfortable grip while reducing shock to the wrist.

Hanging Hole for Storage: Features a hole for attaching a safety lanyard to prevent drops or for hanging on a tool board, facilitating easy storage and quick access.

Applications (Suitable for)

Perfectly suited for scraping, stripping, and material removal tasks in surface preparation prior to painting, construction, renovation, and car detailing. Capable of scraping off peeling, stubborn old paint films, heavy sticky adhesives, super glue residues, removing wallpaper, scraping old silicone sealant along glass edges, chiseling hardened dried mortar along tile grout lines, or removing rust from surfaces where wider coverage is needed quickly.
