TAJIMA SCR-C50 (Scrape-Rite Solid Core Series) is a genuine premium heavy-duty 50 mm (2-inch) straight-blade stainless steel paint scraper and putty knife from Tajima, Japan. Engineered with an ultimate "Solid Through-Tang Construction," the blade and end striking cap are forged as a single piece of steel running completely through the handle. This allows hammer impact forces to be delivered 100% directly to the blade tip, making it far more powerful and durable than conventional scrapers. The blade is crafted from premium SUS420J2 stainless steel with an extra thickness of 1.8 mm, hardened and heat-treated for outstanding resistance to chipping and bending while remaining 100% rust-free. The handle features a rigid resin core covered with a thick, soft elastomer rubber that excels at absorbing shock and vibration.

Features

Solid One-Piece Core: The stainless steel blade extends continuously through to the metal striking cap at the end of the handle, fully supporting hammer impact and force transmission without structural bending or breakage.

Extra-Thick 1.8mm SUS420J2 Blade: High-carbon stainless steel blade up to 1.8 mm thick, specially hardened for maximum wear and scratch resistance, rust-free throughout its lifespan.

Impact-Resistant Hardened Striking Head: Thick and wide end striking head increases the target area for hammer strikes, ensuring greater accuracy and safety.

Ergonomic 2-Component Handle: Ergonomically designed handle made of high impact-resistant hard resin combined with non-slip yellow-black elastomer rubber, providing a firm grip without causing palm fatigue.

Convenient Hanging Hole: Features a hole at the end of the handle for tethering a lanyard or hanging neatly on a tool board, facilitating easy storage and quick access.
