The TAJIMA DC690/Y (Caulking Cutter Series) is a utility cutter specifically designed for cutting, stripping, and scraping old caulking and silicone sealant materials. Accommodating 18 mm blades with an eye-catching yellow-black body straight from Japan, it features an ergonomic "Comfort Ergonomic Safety Grip" design. The handle is made of ultra-tough ABS plastic that resists pressure and impact, fully overmolded with thick, soft elastomer resin to enhance grip and prevent hands from slipping toward the blade when applying heavy scraping pressure. The blade guide sleeve is made of thick, rigid stainless steel that resists bending, paired with a screw lock system that provides maximum locking strength to keep the blade from shifting or slipping back, allowing professionals to strip silicone or sealant along window grooves and tile edges cleanly and efficiently.

Dedicated Caulking Design: The handle shape and angle are specially engineered for grooving, scraping, and stripping joint sealants, delivering full pressing force from your palm directly to the blade tip.
