A 3-inch slotted thru-tang impact screwdriver (75 mm shank length), a high-quality product from CHAMPION designed for heavy-duty and professional trade applications. It features a square shank structure with a black oxide thru-tang running entirely through the handle to a solid steel striking cap on top, allowing users to safely strike the end of the screwdriver with a hammer to chisel, dislodge, or loosen stubborn, seized screws. In addition, the square shank allows an open-end wrench or adjustable wrench to be applied for leverage to maximize turning torque. The slotted tip is specially hardened for resistance to deformation and comes with a heavy-duty synthetic handle that is highly resistant to chemicals and lubricants in maintenance shops. It can also be adapted for light chiseling in place of a chisel when necessary.
