TAJIMA SFSSM2555 (Zigma Stop / Sigma Stop Mag Claw) steel tape measure, 5.5 m length, 25 mm blade width—a premium innovation from Japan designed for steel framing, professional trades, and safe working at heights. It features an intelligent "W-Lock Mechanism" combining an automatic stop function with an extra-strong manual lock button in one unit. The hook end is equipped with a powerful neodymium magnet that securely grips steel surfaces or metal pipes. The metallic silver chrome-finished case is made of high-quality ABS plastic armored with a shock-absorbing rubber cover, and comes with an anti-drop seating belt holder to prevent drop damage.

Features

W-Lock Mechanism (Dual-Lock System): When pulled out, the tape automatically stops and locks (Auto Stop) for convenience, and the slider button can be pushed for an extra Strong Lock to provide added confidence.

Ultra-Rigid Strong Tape: The blade utilizes an extra-thick steel structure (剛厚白テープ), providing up to 1.5 times higher rigidity than conventional tapes. It can extend unsupported in the air up to 2.4 meters without bending or buckling.

Neodymium Magnetic Claw: The tape tip is embedded with a powerful neodymium magnet, allowing it to firmly latch onto steel frames, scaffolding, or water pipes for effortless one-person operation.

Double-Sided Metric Printing: The off-white blade surface reduces sun glare and features clear markings printed on both front and back (JIS Class 1 metric system), coated with a scratch-resistant resin.

Movable Hook for 0-Point Correction: The end hook automatically adjusts for hook thickness to deliver high precision whether measuring by hooking or butting against the workpiece.

Anti-Drop Belt Holder & Safety Cord: Equipped with a quick-release safety belt holder adapter to prevent the tool from dropping from heights to hit the ground or workers below.
